Orphans Sunday

Kings Park Church Members Working with Orphans

On Orphan Sunday, Christians stand for the orphan. We are a people called to defend the fatherless…to care for the child that has no family…to visit orphans in their distress.

On Orphan Sunday, thousands of events echo across America and around the globe, all sharing a single goal: that God's great love for the orphan will find echo in our lives as well. Sermons and small groups, concerts and prayer gatherings, shared meals and youth activities—each rousing believers with God's call to care for the orphan, and what we can do in response.

Orphan Sunday is an initiative of Jodi Tucker. Jodi is a member of KPIC and is an orphan advocate. Pastor Ron commends her work and supports it every year through recognizing Orphan Sunday as a global movement.

Orphans Sunday at Kings Park was recently featured by the Christian Alliance for Orphans. You can see the article here.

The following video highlights a year of how King's Park International embraces the orphan through adoptions, caring, advocacy and Missions. Grab your kleenex box!
